AB22
[edit]Might want to mention that Bonta dropped AB22: https://www.kqed.org/news/11463799/oakland-assemblyman-drops-bill-to-allow-communists-in-state-government — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:BC96:DBD0:6986:7F5B:62F2:989D (talk) 06:05, 17 March 2018 (UTC)

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Rob Bonta's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "CA2022":

- From 2022 United States Senate elections in California: "Primary Election - June 7, 2022". Retrieved 26 March 2022.
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 12:19, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
Decided not to charge former mayor Dominic Foppoli despite 14 allegations of rape or sexual assault
[edit]Former mayor of Windsor, Dominic Foppoli, was accused of raping or sexually assaulting 14 different women, one of whom was a fellow Windsor City Councilmember, and deputy District Attorney, who accused him of date-rape-drugging her, raping her in a wine-tasting room. The Sonoma County DA's Office recused themselves, forwarded the case to the Attorney General's Office under Bonta, where it sat on their desk for approximately 4 years, until they and the Sonoma County DA's Office decided not to charge Foppoli, justifying it by saying that the statute of limitations had passed on all incidents where they had enough evidence to prosecute Foppoli.
Here is one source. I will include more later. I will get exact dates instead of approximate lengths of times from reliable sources as well and make specific citations in support of facts.

Did nothing about the police crime syndicate in Antioch/Pittsburgh
[edit]There was a crime syndicate functioning within the Antioch/Pittsburgh police force. They were murdering people, selling cocaine, illegal steroids, illegal assault weapons, targeting minorities for civil rights violations, taking bribes, and defrauding the taxpayers. At some point there were indictments expected from the FBI. But after indictments were expected from the FBI, it was announced that Rob Bonta's office would be handling the case instead of the FBI. The case sat on his desk for approximately 2 years and he did nothing. Finally the FBI charged two of the peace officers with minor misdemeanors.
Here is the first chronological source. I'll get the others later.
