I feel that this article needs some revision in that it does not indicate clearly that the Ridgway family combined in a number of ways to form a series of important partnerships that often competed as well as co-operated. There is, in particular a lack of clarity with respect to the four quite independent, save for the personal link, businesses run by William Ridgway either on his own or in partnership. I don't feel that the original article needs replacing, but only adjusting, and the illustrations need to relate more clearly to the particular partnership that produced them.
