Rick Wright (football manager) → Rick Wright – Most of the (reliable) sourcing I can find refers to Richard Wright (musician) as Richard, not Rick, the latter appearing to be a relatively less common nickname. Since there are no other pages for anyone who goes by Rick Wright, I feel that this qualifies as the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC per WP:COMMONNAME. The name that a person is commonly billed as should absolutely take precedence over a nickname that is not as commonly used, and thus, this should be moved to Rick Wright accordingly. Oppose. Richard Wright (musician) is clearly the WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT target for Rick Wright. I scrolled through seven pages of Google before I found a Rick Wright that had something to do with football, and it wasn't even this one! --wooden superman 10:07, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
