Seems a guy who wasn't notable for anything before resigning, and now is only notable for no longer wanting any part of the thing he used to do has a right to be forgotten. An article for his replacement might make sense, (s)he'll be the one taking the heat and making the sustained and multiple headlines. This seems like imprudent recentism, his one blip event should be mentioned in other articles only, put yourself in his shoes during this hysteria. Pilger has made the news for two different issues - both the resignation under Barr and the IRS controversy, so he is clearly notable beyond WP:1E. Also, the "right to be forgotten" is not applicable to public government officials where there is no expectation of privacy for their professional roles. -- Fuzheado | Talk 13:57, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I tried, good luck. InedibleHulk (talk) 14:40, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
InedibleHulk, I support a deletion or redirection to Timeline of the 2020 United States presidential election. The Barr authorization is covered there, and the resignation of a no-name career employee can be briefly mentioned. KidAd talk 23:49, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
KidAd, I made a brief mention there, but the existing reference is a bit weak, can't paste a stronger one, wanna? InedibleHulk (talk) 13:35, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Q: was this guy a recent trump appointee or a career DOJ employee? When did he start the position from which he just resigned? i.e. When did he start with DOJ, in general, and that position in particular? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.151.194.138 (talk) 17:40, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
