Richard Miskolci is Distinguished Professor/Full Professor or, in Portuguese, Professor Titular.
The UNICAMP website is outdated and not the best source since Miskolci does not work there. In the same website it is possible to see his name among ex-researchers that do not work at UNICAMP: [1].
Check Miskolci's official and updated profile in the section "Docentes" [Academic Staff] of Department of Preventive Medicine's Website [2] and also his profile on the Graduate Program in Collective Health [3], both in the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP).
Miskolci works at UNIFESP, not UNICAMP.
In Brazil, in the federal academic system, the Associate position is not two levels below Distinguished Professor. It is just one level below. In reality, there are 4 levels of Associate Professor. Miskolci was an Associate Professor 4 and became Distinguished Professor in June 17th, 2020. His title and position is related to his work at UNIFESP (Universidade Federal de São Paulo). A Professor Titular in Portuguese is simply a professor or full professor in English. A distinguished professor is a higher rank only achieved by a small number of full professors. Nobody goes straight from being an associate professor to being a distinguished professor. Phil Bridger (talk) 08:24, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
