[edit]I'm not sure how easy it'll be to find information about it, but I think it would be good to add a little bit more about his high school career. Did he ever get any recognition for anything else when he played high school basketball or any types of academic awards? Was he recruited to play basketball when he was in high school or did he walk on? Also, I think it'd be good to add some more background about his personal life, like how he started playing basketball, where he grew up, what he majored in at NC State, etc. Jbrubins (talk) 18:05, 7 March 2014 (UTC)

[edit]This section should include aspects of his life in college, not only his basketball records. Some good questions to answer that would substantially add to this section would be:
- What did he major in? Why did he choose this major?
- Did he have other aspirations or ideas for his future outside of basketball?
- When and with what degree did he graduate?
- Was there a reason he chose or was accepted to NC State? Any sport/academic scholarships offered to him?
- Who accepted him to the team? (i.e. mention the coach.)
- What was his starting position?
- How often was he played as a starter his freshman year? Did this change/increase throughout his sophomore, junior and senior years?
- Were there any specific skills he improved upon in college that made him such a good candidate for a professional career? What are his best skills and somethings he could work on.
Granted, it may be hard to find biographical sources that can specifically answer these questions, but they would be good to include. Also, it might be good to include some form of reference for his stats. Are they good, great, or phenomenal in comparison to the majority of other college basketball players? For me, a user knowing nothing about basketball, the stats don't really mean much, I think for the general user it would be good to have a comparison level.

[edit]Please submit more about his personal life and upbringing. This could be its own section (ex. where he was born, his parents names, siblings, schools he attended, any injuries etc.)This is a biography and should read like one at some point. You may want to add in why he parted ways, waived, or affiliations with each Professional team. Go into more detail on this. You may want to add in photos of him for any stage of his career. I didn't see what position he plays, I may have overlooked this but it would be good to know. You may also want to add in where he lives now and in the Biography and other talents he has or a wife and children. I would suggest looking at other similar athletes pages to see how they are laid out. That should help you immensely. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikilaina (talk • contribs) 18:12, 7 March 2014 (UTC)
This feedback concerns the article generally, but is intended in particular for students in COM 257 at NCSU during the spring 2014 semester. It is based on this version from 1 April 2014. The problems and suggestions below will cover many aspects of the page including but not limited to writing quality, spelling and grammar, tone, number and quality of sources, extent of source use or misuse, citation style, formatting, layout, wikimarkup errors, stylistic issues, media use, and organization. Some will be straightforward while others will be more general or may require you to do some research into Wikipedia policies and guidelines for content, layout, sourcing, etc. Technical help for Wikipedia is easy to find here and all over the web. If all else fails, just Google your question and you'll almost certainly find answers. If you search and still have trouble (once you search), email me. Several of the items below point to specific examples, but should be generalized throughout the article.
- High school career
- Sout.com typo
- Professional career
- I find this section confusing, with each sentence seemingly talking about a different team. Can this be worded more clearly? If he's currently on the Tropang Texters, maybe put everything before that into a different sub-section? Was he playing simultaneously for the Stampede and Texters despite being in different countries?
- @Rhododendrites: FYI, he's not playing in the D-League, the Stampede traded his rights to the Santa Cruz, meaning if and when he returns to the D-League, the Santa Cruz Warriors have the right to acquire him. DaHuzyBru (talk) 17:11, 9 April 2014 (UTC)
- Media use
- The page really needs an image. What are you doing to find one? If there aren't any free ones on the Internet (free as in accompanied by a license that says they're free to use/modify/distribute), consider reaching out to a newspaper, magazine, website, or organization that does have images. Or reach out to him directly if possible. Refer to Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission before you do that, though. Just asking to use an image on Wikipedia isn't enough.
- References
- References should be formatted in a standardized way. Several consist of just a link. You can use ProveIt to edit these to add additional information.
- Page elements
- Do any of the other navboxes from Category:Philippine Basketball Association navigational boxes apply? There may be one for the 2014 PBA Commissioner's Cup? Maybe others?
- It looks like having a statistics box makes sense for at least his college career, if not professional as well. Look around at different basketball players' articles for the stats table, then just edit the section to see how they did it. I think most use Template:NBA player statistics legend with Template:NBA player statistics start.
