Richard Fuller (Bedfordshire MP)?
[edit]Should we rename this to Richard Fuller (Bedfordshire MP)? Seeing that he's not MP for Bedford any more, but an adjacent constituency. Shritwod (talk) 18:31, 15 December 2019 (UTC)
- I'd prefer Richard Fuller (politician, Bedfordshire) as everyone knows what a political is but the term MP is more obscure, not all countries call their national politicians MPs.
SSSB (talk) 19:06, 15 December 2019 (UTC)- Or just Richard Fuller (politician)? Since the previous MP of the same name has the article Richard Fuller (died 1782) Shritwod (talk) 07:52, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Shritwod: He should really be renamed to Richard Fuller (politician, died 1782) per WP:NCPDAB (which I have now done). I am happy to say that this is the primary topic - i.e. I am happy for this to become Richard Fuller (politician) with a {{for}} pointing towards Richard Fuller (politician, died 1782)
SSSB (talk) 08:42, 16 December 2019 (UTC)- Frustratingly there's a disambiguation page at Richard Fuller (politician), so not quite as straightforward as I thought. But I do think that would be the correct page title and would be consistent with others I have seen. Shritwod (talk) 08:12, 17 December 2019 (UTC)
- That shouldn't be a problem. We can nominate that page for speedy deletion under WP:CSD#G6, however I think we should wait a couple of days in case anyone else want to weigh in.
