DOB

- Richard Brown was born on July 3, 1810 based on at least one source: Richard Brown, known as Dick, was born July 3, 1810, in Mystic, Connecticut. Other sources indicate only 1810. Ancestry.com has sources that point to his age at the time of the census, which also point to the year 1810, even though they record at the top:

- BIRTH 3 JUL 1810 • Mystic, New London, Connecticut, USA

Notability
[edit]Richard "Dick" Brown was captain of the America (yacht), first winner of the America's Cup international sailing trophy. For his services to the America's Cup, he was inducted into the America's Cup Hall of Fame in 1999.[1][2]. Greg Henderson (talk) 00:42, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
