History, awards, etc.
[edit]Let's try to add more to the history, awards, etc. Kemnoto12 (talk) 22:01, 17 May 2013 (UTC)Kemnoto
I think that we could look at other brewery pages and get ideas for what to add from there. Also, I did a little news search on them and found some interesting information on exceeding barrel capacity on their craft brew license, so I'm sure there is other notable information on the web about them.
Festival information would also be pertinent, as I saw Two Brothers had that information on their wiki page. Kemnoto12 (talk) 22:52, 19 May 2013 (UTC)Kemnoto
Our article has the sad warning that it sounds advertise-y, so I'm thinking we might need to find more neutral POV articles, perhaps for the festival information we're thinking of adding? Ickygricky (talk) 00:46, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
Comment
[edit]Given that the article is tagged as an advert, I'm not sure that it's wise to discuss your campaign here. I made these edits, a mix of MoS fixes, removal of minor trivia, rolling up very short sections into longer ones and adding some tags. Read the edit summaries for details. Two refs need formatting properly, but having done that once, I'm not going to do it again. The text seems confused on where the brewery is. Cheers, Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:48, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
- Note that this article has been deleted once (by me), and subsequently tagged again for speedy deletion (I removed the tag because the reason was incorrect), so you do need to be careful Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:52, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
I edited a spelling error and linked this article to other articles re: microbreweries. I agree that the beginning of the article makes the location confusing. I would prefer to start by listing Revolution Chicago first and then add that there are other unrelated breweries by the same name in other locations. Jkim719 (talk) 18:00, 20 May 2013 (UTC)

Just making sure this works. Cvierling (talk) 00:22, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
More than one Revolution Brewing
[edit]Currently this article talks about three different breweries called Revolution Brewing -- one in Chicago, Illinois, one in Paonia, Colorado, and one in Trenton, New Jersey. (Their official websites are here: Chicago, Paonia, Trenton.) But the vast majority of the article focuses on the one in Chicago, which is in fact the most well-known of the three. I propose that this article be devoted to the one in Chicago, with the other two removed. If either or both of the other two are notable, separate articles can be created for them. — Mudwater (Talk) 00:59, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
- It's been a week, and no one has objected to this idea, so I've gone ahead with the update. — Mudwater (Talk) 01:05, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
