Landed Estate
[edit]I have removed the following from the article:
The house is now separate from the Revesby Estate, which is owned by the Wiggins-Davies family after passing down a complex line of inheritance due to several failures of the male line. The estate currently covers 2,510 hectares (6,200 acres), including 1,000 hectares of in-hand farmland and 215 hectares of woodland. The Wiggins-Davies' live at Revesby Park House, a more modest residence that was built in 1963.[citation needed]
From what I can gather from a quick bit of research the Revesby Estate is more of a manorial estate and there is nothing I can find that suggests it is connected to the Abbey. The land some of the land that forms the estate may have been owned by the Abbey, but it is "Might"; I cant find any proof. And then there is the fact this land is under separate ownership to the actual site of the abbey.
Having written quite a few articles about monasteries on wikipedia, it all seems quite dubious to me.
