Merge proposal
[edit]A game camera is just a type of remote camera. I think that the Game camera article can be safely merged here. It may take a bit of re-organizing though.BCtalk to me 22:35, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
- Good idea, we'll have to connect the Game camera searches to the remote camera page so when someone searches Game camera it will come up there. We also don't want to loose information in the merge. I hope it doesn't get all jumbled together. I never did a merge so someone else should have the honors; you have my blessing.--ChubsterII (talk) 22:42, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
- I haven't either. Lets wait for some more discussion though. There may be someone out there with more experience than we have, and could do a good job.BCtalk to me 23:01, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, we don't want to ruin both but I'll help as much as I can.--ChubsterII (talk) 23:48, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
- No volunteers, so I'll give it a shot. Watch how many show up to complain if it turns out to be a train wreck or if I miss some redundant information--ChubsterII (talk) 20:22, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
- Good job so far. I did some tweaking, but it's obviously nowhere near being a mature article. The original article (Remote camera) needed work even before the merge, but the article should evolve (after all, it's a relatively new article). I think more detail/info re: remote cameras in general is what is needed in the short term to avoid weight problems. There is also some overlap that needs to be fixed up.BCtalk to me 07:14, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
