The result of the move request was: moved. There is a consensus that the actress is the primary topic. As well as having more votes in favour of the move, the arguments were also stronger – it was clearly shown the actress meets the usage criterion and there was no argument that either had more long-term significance. Dab page moved to Rebecca Ferguson (disambiguation) and deleted. Jenks24 (talk) 08:43, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
Rebecca Ferguson (actress) → Rebecca Ferguson – Clear wp:PRIMARYTOPIC, as discussed here. Film Fan 17:21, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
- Support – the actress is the primary topic now. NOTE: This previous RM discussion on this topic: Talk:Rebecca Ferguson (singer)#Requested move 22 December 2015. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 17:38, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks. You might notice that was already linked to, but no harm in double linkage! Film Fan 20:07, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
- Heh. Yeah, you're right – I missed that... --IJBall (contribs • talk) 20:12, 3 January 2016 (UTC)

- Support – I agree with that move.--BabbaQ (talk) 20:59, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose - leave it. Film fans and music fans will be looking for different things, (actress) (singer) helps both. WP:TWODABS allows 2 on a dab. And you have significant potential for mislinking here as music and film articles have "R F" added to them, which if a move takes place the dablink engine will no longer pick up. In ictu oculi (talk) 08:37, 4 January 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose – no obvious rationale for a primarytopic claim here. What's obvious it that different types of fans have different opinions of which should be primary. Dicklyon (talk) 06:15, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose. No clear primary topic here. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:53, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
- Support due to pageviews showing a usage preference. The page move to Rebecca Ferguson (singer) occurred on January 3, so the last three full months of pageview data we have are October to December 2015. Over that time, even with the singer being at the primary topic and thus drawing pageviews from readers looking for the actress, the actress still received significantly more views than the singer - 268774 vs. 77759, nearly three and a half times as many. Egsan Bacon (talk) 17:47, 7 January 2016 (UTC)
- Weak oppose - She won recognition from Hamptons International Film Festival. Also, she gained notability in one movie and miniseries, but they are very recent. Moreover, the article doesn't detail her roles very well alongside nominations. Therefore, we should not give weight on either one. George Ho (talk) 12:57, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
- Almost forgot about the Festival: it doesn't seem as prestigious and well-known as other Festivals. And even Critics' Choice Awards may not reach the same level with other well-known Awards. --George Ho (talk) 22:29, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
- Support. By all evidence, the actress is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC in a WP:TWODABS situation. Even at the base name, the singer received 74,057 hits in the last 90 days, while the actress has received more than 3x that at 263,114. That's a lot of people to be sending to a dead end, when the singer can be linked in just as few clicks through a hat note.--Cúchullain t/c 14:45, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
- What about long-term significance? Seems to me that the singer might held up more than the actress. George Ho (talk) 22:29, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
- It doesn't seem that the singer has more long-term significance than the actor, who easily trumps the singer in page views.--Cúchullain t/c 22:38, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
- Is the actress significant as or more than the singer? The singer has one worldwide hit and some decent UK hits. The actress was in one blockbuster movie, one historical miniseries, and one biblical movie. George Ho (talk) 23:54, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
- The actress quite plainly trumps the singer in terms of usage, and her long-term significance would appear to meet or exceed that of the singer. Just according to the article she's already received two major award nominations and has/will appear in a number of high profile film and TV productions, which supports the fact that she's much more prominent in terms of use.--Cúchullain t/c 03:15, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

- Support per the page views presented by Cúchullain. It's not even close. kennethaw88 • talk 06:20, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
- Support while there might be a degree of recentism going on here, clearly this is a place for TWODABS, and with consensus already established that the singer is not the primary, then the logical approach would be to move this article into primary status. No need for a redirect or DAB for just two possible targets. As was done in 2012, should we need to reverse this sometime down the road, then that would be easy and cheap to do. The pageviews and google search results may change a bit upon the new relsease of a movie or album, appearently both in the works. But as it stands today, the actress is more notable. I saw her public record that her stage surname is already her legal surname. 125.212.122.173 (talk) 11:12, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
