- ... that Raymond Kipkoech won the 2011 Jerusalem Marathon despite crossing the wrong finish line? Source: [1] "The first runner to arrive at the actual finish line was Kenyan Robert Kipkoech Cheruiyot with a time of 2:27:48, but later on Raymond Kipkoech, 34, of Kenya was announced as the official winner with a time of 2:26:44 after apparently going off the course and arriving at the finish line of the half-marathon in a different location."
- ALT1:... that Raymond Kipkoech was only confirmed for the 2002 Berlin Marathon a week before the event, and ended up winning the race? Source: [2] "Raymond Kipkoech leading a trio of Kenyans over the finish line in the men's race." ... "Kipkoech, from the village of Kapsait, situated at 3,000 metres altitude near the Ugandan border, only began running two years ago and secured a place in the Berlin race the week before the event."

- Hi Joseph2302, review follows: article created 9 June; article exceeds minimum length (though strange that he seems to have nothing since 2011?); article is well written and cited inline throughout to reliable sources; I didn't notice any overly close paraphrasing; hooks are mentioned in the article and backed up by the sources cited; my preference is ALT0; a QPQ has been carried out. Looks fine to me - Dumelow (talk) 17:22, 10 June 2020 (UTC)
- It looks like he retired in 2011 (2011 are last races he's shown as running on [3] (results tab)). And lots of sports people disappear once they retire. Joseph2302 (talk) 16:35, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
- Dumelow Is there anything else that needs addressing in the article? If it's good to go, please can you add a {{subst:DYKtick}} DYK nominations aren't classed as approved until a DYK tick is added. Joseph2302 (talk) 15:43, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks Joseph2302, all good here, I just forgot the icon - Dumelow (talk) 15:49, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
