I will be deprodding this article for the following reasons:
thisDispatch article contributes to SIGCOV, but does not in itself confer notability. It is one example of being cited as an expert in the media, but is again not all the way there.
Fellowship of MAA might make this person notable by itself, but I don't know how selective it is.
The word "fellow" is overused in academia. The ones that pass WP:PROF#C3 are honorary levels of membership in major societies, generally given to senior academics (associate or full professors) for a significant record of scholarly achievement. They are not given to postdocs. The ones you list to are awards to support travel to an event, or to pay for a postdoctoral research visit. Beyond the fact that they are named by the same word, they have nothing to do with the #C3-type fellows. They do not contribute to notability in any way. —David Eppstein (talk) 05:57, 20 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Either of you can still nominate for AFD. I just thought she had enough chance that I'd contest deletion without more discussion. BhamBoi (talk) 22:50, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
