Article lead and style of the Theatre

Doug Coldwell - I am uncomfortable describing the Theatre in the lead as being solely "Greek Revival". One other source states "Colonial" but taking a look at the windows and proportions of the overall structure (especially keeping in mind the related & adjacent Assembly Hall) those elements are not really characteristic of either Greek or of Colonial but perhaps look more reminiscent of the Romanesque style. Have removed the Greek Revival statement - only from the lead section - but let's discuss etc. Shearonink (talk) 18:17, 21 December 2020 (UTC)

  • "hipped roof, denticulated" what do both those mean?

  • Don't think the historical marker text needs to be repeated, it's pretty clear to see.


  • Refs should be complete, i.e. publisher, date, access date, website etc.

  • Comment: I'm not sure the Note I added is Wiki-kosher or "according to Hoyle" but I wanted any possible future readers to know that the National Archives actually has a pdf file of the Nomination & Acceptance forms available online for public view. Shearonink (talk) 21:57, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

  • It's not listed in the "U.S. National Register of Historic Places" navigation box so it shouldn't be there.
?? -- Am confused about this item. Per the National Archives the Ramsdell is listed on the National Register (see info below), so what exactly is missing that needs to be fixed?

Doug Coldwell Sorry, I missed that correction/adjustment in that massive edit conflict I thought I had fixed. Sfn ref/Ref #4 looks perfect to me (Harvard refs can sometime be such a pain to get adjusted so they're correct... ) Shearonink (talk)
