She came first in a poll in this week's inside soap. missing out on more info here guys...RaintheOne BAM 19:49, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dont mean to be rude, but can you give me the info form the poll? Like who was in it, what it was about etc. MayhemMario 20:18, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's okay. The question was: "Which Walford lady would you like to see Ian hook up with next - Denise, Rainie, Carol or Kim?" - and the results Rainie=42%, Kim=33%, Denise=13% and Carol=12%... I don't think that poll is worthy of inclusion. –anemoneprojectors13:23, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Comments

  • Good work, however I don't feel I can pass this yet as there are no references in the Storylines section.

Cloudbound (talk) 11:22, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not the nominator but thought i'd draw you'r attention to this which was agreed after this discussion. D4nnyw14 (talk) 14:58, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes shadowing D4nnyw14 comment, you dont need sources for storylines. MayhemMario 15:29, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry about that. In that case this article has passed. Cloudbound (talk) 19:36, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This edit summary seems fine but I can't see it on these puters. Can someone explain just so I know? –anemoneprojectors15:51, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Queen Vic bust talks about the recent departee's of Walford and Rainie is shown along with others. GSorbyPing! 16:00, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I see. Does that mean the actress left the cast, or just that the character departed Walford? –anemoneprojectors16:32, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
She did the usual disappear at Christmas act. Makes me wonder if Franks was in panto or booked extended leave. If that's the case I predict a return by approximately March. George, I thought you actually had spoken to Franks, and she said she wasnt leaving?GunGagdinMoan 18:56, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It showed Grace has departed too. Now Im not a TV producer, but even I can figure out that if the character has departed, then at least give her a) a departure storyline b) an on-screen minor comment about her moving? MayhemMario 18:59, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Duration

[edit]

I know there are certain rules regarding the duration if the character's appearances are more than a year apart, however I do think we should revise this for the case of Rainie. She did not appear continuously between 2007-2008, or between 2010 and 2011. She was a recurring character with short stints, surely this should be detailed in the duration? Alex250P (talk) 12:31, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

To be honest, she was a character who appeared between 2007 and 2011, so we could put 2007-11 and it would still be right. Saying 2007-08 and 2010-11 is also correct. 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011 is also correct but looks a bit long. I don't see why Rainie should be an exception to the rule - I can understand some others but not this one. –anemoneprojectors18:51, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
