I just moved this here to discuss.
[edit]- Raphael Menconi executed the architecture modelling of the temporary Victory Arch erected in 1919 in Madison Square to celebrate the end of World War I; it was designed by Thomas Hastings, and twenty-four sculptors participated.[1]
According to Opitz, Glenn B , Editor, Mantle Fielding’s Dictionary of American Painters, Sculptors & Engravers, Apollo Book, Poughkeepsie NY, 1986, the arc was designed by Frank G. Menconi. Carptrash (talk) 19:03, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
