History Section
[edit]Hello, I added some information to the history portion that provides more a backdrop for why racial tensions increased, as well as some early African American political leaders within Columbus's history. Figured that would round out the picture more by showing that discriminatory practices were implemented in response to black figures appearing in these spaces as opposed to African Americans being barred from sociopolitical participation right out of the gate. Please feel free to expand upon or remove anything that is not up to code. That's-on-history (talk) 18:02, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
