I would encourage anyone that has a better understanding of Padman's contributions to expand upon the career section. Right now the largest topic of her career is her "outing" as trans-gendered. Additionally, the paragraph about Padman and Greer needs to improved. I am not knowledgable about the event, but it is written very strangely. StickerMug (talk) 16:11, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
An earlier version of the article suggested that Clare Longrigg's A Sister with No Fellow Feeling" [Guardian 25 June 1997] was retracted because Greer had made groundless accusations. In fact, the apologized to Prof. Greer for groundlessly suggesting that she had made those accusations. 86.164.29.128 (talk) 10:41, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Kindly do not remove sourced information, unless you specifically explain the problem. For example, which part of the story is misleading? And your comment is really incomprehensible, hence, I have reverted your edit. Chhandama (talk) 12:43, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Why does the article use the feminine pronoun throughout, including references to Padman's childhood? He was born a man, and biologically remains one. It was only much more recently that he began the surgical procedures that change his appearance to a more feminine one.Royalcourtier (talk) 04:59, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Fundamentally Transsexual women are born female - that is why their birth certificates can be legally changed to reflect that.(UK current legislation)
There are so many misrepresentations of that fact. The body is genetically male but the person is female , That is what Transsexual means.
Too many high academics are making comments totally unaware of the extensive medical research that has gone into Transsexual medicine.
This is evident in the views they express. In fact too many people express views ignorant of the salient facts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.155.68.249 (talk) 13:17, 8 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
