Why I removed the information naming Mr. Thomas' grandparents

[edit]

Without doubt Mr. Thomas comes from a lineage of accomplished people who have distinguished themselves in their descendant, and his own children and grandchildren have every right to be proud. But Wikipedia isn't the best place for genealogies. Familysearch.org offers free accounts where people enter their ancestors and upload photos and documents, as I have done for mine. It's collaborative though, meaning others can also edit. Ancestry.com offers subscription accounts that allow creation of trees no one else can alter. Thank you for your words; familysearch, ancestry, us gen, etc. are ol' school for me.
Is a free forum only interested in the family paths of presidents?
"His paternal grandfather, P. J. Kennedy, was an East Boston ward bossand Massachusetts state legislator. Kennedy's maternal grandfather and namesake, John F. Fitzgerald, was a U.S. congressman and two-term mayor of Boston. All four of his grandparents were children of Irish immigrants."
