Pretty sure he's from Walsall/Sutton Coldfield not Quinton. Anyone confirm?
Notable people (NOT!)
[edit]Who is Ji Hoon Kang? Never heard of him and not linked to any other wiki ref. The "13 year old child genius" is also unworthy and fatuous. Agree these should be removed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.196.222.130 (talk) 21:49, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
Height
[edit]I removed the sentence "It is rumoured locally that the next highest point due easterly lies in the Ural mountains". Can we stick to facts please? A cursory look at my school atlas along roughly that line of latitude shows Minsk (half way towards the Urals) at a height of 280m, and then we get the Central Russian Uplands reaching the same sort of height. Not very high, only as high as the Lickeys in fact, but higher than Quinton.--Shantavira|feed me 14:08, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
Welsh House Farm Estate
[edit]"There is a concentration of low-rise council housing on the Woodgate Valley estate, and higher-rise blocks on the Welsh House Farm estate, though this was designated until 2004 as part of Harborne." - And still is Harborne! Unless of course a boundary for Quinton can be supplied and only then NOT Quinton Ward for as we know, wards do not necessarily coincide with locality boundaries. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.237.38.86 (talk) 13:42, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
