Quill/Kid Omega in the movie X3

[edit]

Comment from main article: --"He does, however, bear a resemblence to the Resistants member, as he was the only villain to use that name." -- The preceeding sentence is vague and confusing. Who are the Resistants? Is that a reference to Kid Omega? Please specify--

The Resistants are mentioned and even wiki-linked in the article. See Quill II section. As I haven't seen the movie yet, I can't confirm whether the statement is valid though. And powerwise all Quills are pretty similar, so it's pretty much impossible to say which Quill was the source. Still the Resistants are a splinter group of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, so he would fit best of all the Quills mentioned.Dizzy D 17:54, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:KenQuill.jpg

[edit]

Image:KenQuill.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:20, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Which Quill is Ken Leung supposed to be?  C Teng [talk] 02:10, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Max Jordan

[edit]

Note for later when I find the book: Max also had a big scene with Karma at one of the school dances. Very noteable. Lots42 (talk) 03:44, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Max Jordan has not become Asian

[edit]

A recent user added to the article that somehow some "new X-Men comics" have brought Max back from the dead, become a team member of some "new" X-Men, and turned him Asian. This is not true and unsourced. For one, all the X-Men comics are currently ending for the Secret Wars event, and no new ones have been announced aside for a few airing for just the event itself and nothing has been fully announced for after it is over. And the few X-related titles that are playing out in the event have not shown any version of Quill in them at all. Unless another user can reference a title in which he has recently appeared with this supposed change in ethnicity, then it does not belong on the page.

And also, with how another user tried to explain this to me, the Max Jordan section where this change was made is for the comics only. Any other media interpretation belongs in the section clearly labeled "In other media." So the version of the character that appeared in X3 belongs in that section only and has absolutely no bearing on any other part of the article.71.121.241.118 (talk) 01:20, 8 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Um he is a Asian now. It's in the new X Men Comics. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1001:B010:1EB3:94C:D8C5:21A7:1369 (talk) 19:45, 3 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
