Unnecessary articles for award winners
[edit]It is unnecessary for every person who got this award to have their own article in an encyclopedia. In almost every one of the pages for the people linked here, there is no information other than they won this award. So they are only notable for this single event and since it is already covered on this page, they do not need their own page to repeat it. GrainyMagazine (talk) 22:37, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
- Not so. They did something to win the award, generally that is at least 20 years working in enterprise promotion. That work forms part of their notability, and is documented, partly in reporting of the award, and partly elsewhere. Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to find the reliable sources. External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
- Attempted to fix sourcing for http://www.businesslink.gov.uk/Horizontal_Services_files/QA0024_BGfacts_Enterprise_Promotion.pdf
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
).
