Legacy
[edit]The legacy section can be improved: The Qing Reforms did not end in a complete dead end, in the sense that it offers inspiration for later generation reformers; The education component of the reform has an enduring effect that leads to a flourish of literati talents in the years to come, most notably Su Shi; the political reforms were partially resumed and implemented in the Jiayou Reign when Han Qi, Fu Bi, and Ouyang Xiu returned to the central court.
