Biceps

[edit]

Duh, thanks on the change to biceps. Digitalblister 23:37, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Comments

[edit]

Pullups are often used with dip belts to add weight, lat pulldowns pretty much suck for some reason beyond me (something about it being an open chain movement). So, some people please change that. Also, behind-the-back pulldowns might be dangerous for the rotator cuff muscles, I heard. One last thing: proper form should be explained in this article, it's up to the trainee to decide how or when to use it and unnececary warnings like that do not have any place for them here. This is POV. If someone is bothered about it, they should open thier own page about the risks in working out. I should add: the swiss ball lovers who need to dress like they work or pose out should avoid writing up articles, seriously. User:88.155.36.26 12:56, 22 November 2006

Upper traps

[edit]

I noticed this page mentions upper traps being used in the pulldown. This is a complete fabrication and I have to control myself not to delete it immediately. I am fact-tagging it because the references listed are not possible to check (they are a book citation) and I don't believe such a book is reliable if it makes this claim. Someone else feel free to remove it, I'm adding statements to the contrary. DB (talk) 20:53, 6 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Alternate Pulldowns

[edit]

I don't see how a section stating that the alternate form of pull downs is dangerous is relevant to the article so I removed it. The majority of the other exercise pages do not have this, therefore its unnecessary. 173.32.219.187 (talk)
