Apart from the question whether it actually took place or not, isn't it a bit strange to list Allah's creation of Man as a prototypical process and not as an act, as it is widely understood that God certainly had the intention to create when he initiated the whole process. On Process patentability

I think a section on process patentability would be helpful.

Singular process

I removed the example "creation of the universe by God" since it doesn't fit the definition of a process as a trajectory in a system's phase space. I replaced it with a more reasonable example of a singular process. --Shastra 14:34, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Systemic Functional Linguistics/Grammar

A process is also a core concept in Systemic Functional Linguistics/Grammar (SFL or SFG) - 'process' is equivalent to 'verb'. There are different kinds of processes - material, behavioural, mental, verbal, existential, relational identifying, and relational attributive. All of these concepts are REALLY important in Applied Linguistics. Anyway, I don't know how to add to the page to include SFL 'process' - could somebody please let me know how? I checked them all, this one was the only where you seemed to be acting reasonably. Be aware that mass changes over multiple articles with polemical edit summaries more or less aways results in your being reverted on sight. ----Snowded TALK 02:16, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Gregbard has been doing the same thing, reverting the removal of his spamming categories. Even though his spamming is against consensus at the Village Pump. I have come across a number of process articles that have some overlapping scope and therefore are difficult to work with. In particular, Process management, Process-based management are examples. I work in the project management area and find the articles too heavily oriented towards manufacturing. I rearranged the article as follows:

This has given rise to the evolution of production style and pattern from home garden cultivation, to field cultivation, to the use of animals to plow farmlands, using a natural water source to irrigate farmlands, and modem day innovations such as the use of First-generation seeds and Genetically Modified Organism for improved expected yield. Basically, looking for the most effective way of increasing yield and making more profit is an endeavor that is common to every practitioner.

The solution is the concept of Agro Process Management. It is a system of agriculture where that involves the input of considerable effort into the production process by incorporating principles of management in its operation. These principles are incorporated in the pre-production, production, and post-production stage of the operation.
