Pressure swing and temperature swing

[edit]

I kind of miss an article on temperature swing adsorption; the same principle, but then temperature is varied instead of pressure to desorb (at higher temperature desorption takes place, at lower temperature adsorption). So future improvements may be to make separate sections under the topic Adsorption for both temperature and pressure swing adsorption. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fabiennegoosens (talkcontribs) 21:25, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

VSA and TSA certainly deserve to be covered, perhaps even having their own pages.Testem (talk) 15:10, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Parameter deviation?

[edit]

I have cut and pasted the following comment from the article to the talk page:

aria?

[edit]

What is "aria" in the drawing. Should that be air? Adacus12 (talk) 02:56, 25 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's originally from the italian wiki (it:Adsorbimento) de:User:Morglin — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.119.177.151 (talk) 14:11, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

last sentence looks like advertisement, also i think 99.999% is one 9 too many. --129.13.72.198 (talk) 18:07, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It is not too many 9's, PSAs can be (and at times are) designed for 99.999%, the limitation on going to higher design purities is more on detection limits of impurities.Akim1026 (talk) 04:26, 15 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

how much air is required to produce 1 m3 N2 at a particular purity, would be useful info Turner chris1 (talk) 15:09, 27 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Pressure swing adsorption. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Merge suggested December 2019

[edit]

Hey everybody, just started looking at the articles listed under the Chemical and Biological Engineering subject. Looking at this, I would consider VSA just a special case of PSA, unless somebody feels differently. The page should probably be merged. I'll figure out how to put a merge request in later, but let me know! Chenomic (talk) 04:27, 28 December 2019 (UTC)

I've added the merge templates to these articles per your suggestion and copied the text to the talk page for PSA. --Wtshymanski (talk) 02:54, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
