Electoral College map needs to be updated
[edit]The map shown in the Election section is the old one that applied to the 2012, 2016, and 2020 elections. The updated map for the 2024 and 2028 elections is: ElectoralCollege2024.svg, as seen in the "Vice President of the United States" article. HmmInterdasting (talk) 22:34, 11 July 2024 (UTC)

- Not an edit request. He is not the president until January 20, 2025 at noon. 331dot (talk) 11:27, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, but technically, he won the election, and therefore the image of Joe Biden as president is inaccurate, as he lost the title to Trump this year. 142.181.188.19 (talk) 12:02, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- No, that is not how it works. Joe Biden remains President of the United States, even though Donald Trump won the election. Biden keeps the title and the office until his term ends, which will be January 20, 2025. Drdpw (talk) 12:08, 6 November 2024 (UTC)

Change the president
[edit]On November 6, 2024, the current president of the United States of America is once again President Donald J Trump. Then should users change Joe Biden to Donald J Trump. Etiquetas 077 (talk) 14:07, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- No, that is incorrect. Drdpw (talk) 14:11, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- Yes this is correct 2A02:C7C:5932:7B00:D581:EFD:33C8:DE3A (talk) 19:17, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- False. Trump only won the 2024 election, but he hasn't yet assumed the presidency; Biden's still the incumbent. That'll change in January, when we'll update the article accordingly once Trump's inaugurated, and even then anything could happen before that Lazesusdasiru (talk) 20:43, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
