First stab at assessment

[edit]

This is clearly a stub, or barely more than one; less clear is its importance: I rate it as High, because of its importance as an empirical datum for the very important issue of the efficient market hypothesis. --- Charles Stewart(talk) 14:13, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Second first stab

[edit]

The "Prediction Company" article is clearly a stub, more than 5 years after the company ceased doing business. That, in itself indicates insignificance. I searched Bing and Google and found no substantive references, except a reference to the company's closure and links to this Wikipedia article. I checked https://www.crunchbase.com/hub/predictive-analytics-companies , home page for a database that purports to be a list of 3000+ companies in the field of "Predictive Analytics". The home page does not list the "Prediction Company" specifically; I did not search the database. Even if the Prediction Company is listed in the database, I would consider one company, out of business, of 3000 in the field as insignificant. Therefore, I suggest that the company does not qualify for a separate article under WP:GNG. If the article is retained, it should definitely be demoted to Low-importance.
