Edit at talk page
[edit]I have removed your edit of the Policy and Guidelines talk page as you rmoved or changed many other peoples edits. See WP:TALK. If your talk sectio has disappeared and you wish to say something more start a new one and refer to the old one. Dmcq (talk) 19:33, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
I have read several pages of newbie orientation material, and am apparently still woefully ignorant about the "simple" process of using talk pages. What did I do that removed many other editors' comments on the talk page I edited? Do you have a recommendation for other orientation material that I should read? What is a reasonable amount of reading to enable me to use Talk pages without bashing others' comments?
You mention "refer to the old one". How does one set up such a reference?
Finally, what of the WP:TPO statement that "The basic rule—with some specific exceptions outlined below—is that you should not edit or delete the comments of other editors without their permission"? Under what exception did you delete my original comment? Why was I not notified of the deletion?
My ventures to participate in WP, seem to be pitfall-prone... Wcmead3 (talk) 01:51, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
