Importance in relation to WP Companies
[edit]Initially setting importance to 'mid' as this would seem to be one of many generic manufacturers, this one relatively small compared to some. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 18:07, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
Listing standard company information
[edit]How can I list standard company information? —Preceding unsigned comment added by PrascoLabs (talk • contribs) 16:32, 4 January 2008
- I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but you might find an infobox is what you need. If you can't work out how it functions, please ask again here. You could also look at Wikipedia:Companies, corporations and economic information which gives a lot of useful info. Don't forget the need to comply with these criteria and to cite your sources. For example, how is Teva Pharmaceutical Industries set up? Could I set up a page for Prasco like theirs? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.161.128.130 (talk) 18:05, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'm still unsure if you are asking a technical or an editorial question. If the former, go to the Teva article, click on the 'edit this article' tab at the top and you can see, copy and modify the markup the editors there have used. If you're asking an editorial question ("How do I prevent my article being deleted?") then the answer is to demonstrate notability. The Teva article is not brilliantly sourced, but does have references to independent sources and as a NASDAQ-100 company is arguably notable almost by definition. As Prasco is not so big, you will have to find alternative sources to attest to its notability. If there are insufficient, you may have to resign yourself to the article being deleted. Kim Dent-Brown (Talk) 19:06, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
OK, please consider my new content. I have matched the Teva format as closesly as possible. There is a growing consumer interest in "Authorized Generics" and where to find them. I feel that this article serves as an unbiased information source of who Prasco is, and what Authorized Generics are available under the Prasco name. There are multiple consumers who can only afford to take the generic drug, yet suffer side effects due to the differences between the generic and the brand. With an Authorized Generic, they are certain to have the identical drug experience to the brand. This is a growing area of concern and search on the Web. Thanks for your consideration.PrascoLabs (talk) 20:44, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Removing speedy deletion tag
[edit]Technically, the CSD tag is justified. The article doesn't make clear why this company is important. However, if this company owns Ambien and Allegra, it is clearly notable; the importance of these drugs needs to be made more explicit in the article, though. Some data about sales of these drugs in their category would help in this regard. --Richard (talk) 23:23, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
- As far as I can see from the article, the company doesn't own these drugs: it manufactures generic equivalents of them. I still don't think this article demonstrates notability and will reinstate a notability tag and take the article to WP:AfD for discussion. Kim Dent-Brown (Talk) 14:01, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
