Unsourced paragraphs?

[edit]

The entirety of the first part of the article is completely unsourced. This is also the part that makes the boldest statements presented as definitive fact, such as:

"The Duchy's capital of Prague was the center of this slave trade, and internationally known as one of the biggest centers of slave trade in Europe at the time."

"The Prague slave trade is known as one of the main routes of saqaliba-slaves to the Muslim world"

"Bohemia was thereby able to traffic pagan captives to the slave market of the Muslim Caliphate of Cordoba through Christian France without trouble."

Basically, the first four paragraphs of this article are one big "citation needed". Is this the new Wikipedia standard? 89.103.214.148 (talk) 15:09, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The introductory paracraphs of an article on Wikipedia does not need references. They are simply an introductory summary of the article content. --Aciram (talk) 19:50, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
