I have decided to work on creating an article for the "poverty-growth-inequality triangle," which was an article on the requested article page for economic policy. Majora'sMacro (talk) 20:44, 2 November 2014 (UTC)
I finished my first draft of the article, so peer review comments can go below on this page. Thank you very much! Majora'sMacro (talk) 16:26, 6 November 2014 (UTC)
(The Wikipedia definition of notability says that if a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is suitable for an article. The Poverty-Growth-Inequality Triangle has been the center of plenty of research, with tens and maybe even hundreds of articles applying Bourguignon’s triangle to different countries, including articles as recent as 2013 (the model was created in 2003/2004). Furthermore, the topic is connected to François Bourguignon, who as the former Chief Economist of the World Bank, is a notable person. Therefore, this topic meets the Wikipedia criteria for notability. Majora'sMacro (talk) 03:43, 15 November 2014 (UTC)

Peer Comments:
- The third section of background seems confusing. “In 2013, a study of the 138 countries designated by the World Bank over the period 2005 to 2010 found that the basic ideas of Poverty-Growth-Inequality Triangle hold and that both growth and inequality impact absolute poverty as Bourguignon described”
- Maybe - In 2013, a study of the 138 countries designated by the World Bank over the period 2005 to 2010 found that the basic ideas of Poverty-Growth-Inequality Triangle proves that both growth and inequality impact poverty as Bourguignon described.
- It would maybe to put the definition/explanation of the “Bourguignon” concept before the model chart. It would be helpful to know what it is and then what it does.
- The examples used to describe the cause and effect in certain regions helps to put it in real life perspective.
- The controversy aspect was clear and readable to put into real life perspective as well.
- Both the significance and controversy sections could be seen as overlap information, but they were separated very well with good examples as evidence.
- The model section is the hardest to read; I am not sure when describing the picture is using the same wording in the box. Maybe separating the explanations will help individualize all the information.

The article introduces the Poverty-Growth-Inequality Triangle model and discusses its background, significance, and controversy as well as how the model works.
The article is largely effective, although it could benefit from revision.
The "Economics" info box on the side of the article should probably be removed. Articles on the Solow-Swan model, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solow%E2%80%93Swan_model, and Cost-benefit analysis, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cost%E2%80%93benefit_analysis, do not have an "Economics" info box.
It seems like the "Economics" info box is appropriate for articles on major categories of economics such as Microeconomics, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microeconomics, and Developmental Economics, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Development_economics, but not for articles on economic models.
The article could benefit from a "Further reading" section and an "External links" section, as well as a "Macroeconomics" info box (Wikipedia appears to consider "Developmental economics" a sub-category of "Macroeconomics") and a "Categories" section like those included at the bottom of the "Solow-Swan model" article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solow%E2%80%93Swan_model
There is a typo in the second paragraph of the "Background" section: it should be "Poverty-Growth-Inequality Triangle" rather than just "Poverty-Growth-Inequality."
Perhaps the article could be improved if the countries listed in the second paragraph of the "Background" section were organized in alphabetical order. The list currently goes: "Egypt, Mexico, China, India, and Nigeria."
A possible source of confusion in the "Model" section is the fact that the image of the Poverty-Growth-Inequality Triangle that you use has labels that do not perfectly conform to your description of the model. For example, it is written that "At the top of the triangle is 'absolute poverty,'" yet the diagram pictured has a box at the top labeled "Absolute poverty and poverty reduction."
The "Model" section could benefit from an explanation of why the equation assumes small changes in poverty and why that assumption is significant.
The article could benefit by mentioning the names of some of the "previous models of poverty" referred to in the first paragraph of the "Significance" section.
There is a typo at the end of the first paragraph in the "Significance" section. There is a part of a sentence currently written, "should depend that relationship," when it should be, "should depend on that relationship."
There is a small formatting error throughout the article. There should not be a space between the period at the end of a sentence and the superscript of the reference or references. For example, the first superscripts in the article are placed like this at the end of a sentence: ". . . inequality. [1][2]" The superscripts should be placed like this: "inequality.[1][2]"
Despite the issues mentioned above, the article is informative.
I recommend publishing it. Once it is published, other editors could make helpful revisions to it.
Thank you for your time and consideration, and I wish you good luck in improving your article!

I addressed my peers' comments by eliminating excess words in the background section sentence that Nubea28 discussed above. I also removed some words that did not fit with the wikipedia style of writing, including phrases like "in other words" and "for example" throughout the paper. Finally, when the final version is published, I plan on linking other article to this article, particularly the Bourguignon article, but also a variety of developmental economic articles that are closely tied to this one. Added to Economic Policy category (since the article was originally requested under that category). Let me know if I need to change the way I categorized. Thanks Majora'sMacro (talk) 06:16, 30 January 2015 (UTC)
