- Is it broad in its coverage?
- A. Major aspects:
- I'd suggest moving the business operations section above the transport facilities because the mention of the concessionaires in the latter is confusing. Differences in cargo tonnages between Luka d.d. Split and the port itself are confusing. Who ruled Split during the Middle Ages, Venice?
- B. Focused:
- During summer the volume increases 3,812 vehicles on average. Is this the new total or is this in addition to the 1800-odd vehicles during the rest of the year?

Thank you very much for taking time to review this article. I'll try to address your concerns and improve the article:
- The summer traffic average is a new total - i.e. that figure represents average taking into consideration the summer peak season only, while the annual average takes into account all twelve months.
- OK, just clarify that info.
- I agree with the reordering proposed above - the article will improve in terms of clarity in that way.
- Luka d.d. Split and Port of Split are actually two different things - even though Luka Split is Croatian translation of Port of Split, Luka d.d. Split is one of concessionaires in the port and Luka d.d. Split contributes towards total tonnage of the Port of Split.
- Admittedly, the numbers seem odd, but other sources confirm the volume ranges [1]
- Perhaps you could rephrase it to clarify that one of the concessionaires had a 20% increase in volume that year?
- Roughly speaking the area of Split was ruled by the Western Roman Empire since the first settlement of the area until decline of the empire, when control of the city passed to the Byzantine Empire, which was in the 10th century (thereabouts) to the medieval Kingdom of Croatia, which formed a personal union with Kingdom of Hungary in 1102. Venetian Republic controls the Dalmatia between 1420 and 1797, when the territory is acquired by Austria-Hungary (Austrian part of the monarchy) until the end of the WWI with a period of French control between 1806 and 1813.--Tomobe03 (talk) 16:39, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
- That's a good summary, now add it to the article so people are clear that Split was not an independent city state during this period.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 20:59, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
- I tried to address this issue (and the ones above) without adding too much detail. Do you think there's a need to continue timeline to 1918 breakup of Austria-Hungary and 1991 breakup of Yugoslavia or not?--Tomobe03 (talk) 21:53, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
