- ... that Port Jefferson village officials opposed expanding the Caithness Long Island Energy Center because they feared it would lead to decommissioning the Port Jefferson Power Station?

- Overall: - QPQs valid, hook interesting and sourced.
- Energy center: Moved into mainspace on the date of nomination, long enough and well-referenced. Earwig gave a pretty high 12%, but the matches were all just long names and phrases that are hard to reword.
- Power station: Also moved into mainspace on nomination date. Earwig was 11%, but it was again just long names. Image in article is licensed properly.
- Good to go. Juxlos (talk) 16:34, 18 April 2022 (UTC)
Fuel(s) ?
[edit]It is not quite clear what fuel is burned to generate the steam for the turbines. It is somehow implied that coal was discontinued sometime in the past, and as of 2022 gas seems more likely than fuel-oil, but it would perhaps be more encyclopedic if those matters were explicited. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Noliscient (talk • contribs) 11:36, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
