[edit]

I added a link to what looks like the official begining of the project. http://instapundit.com/archives/025618.php The paragraph could probably use some cleaning up, but I thought I would include that link for now. --Viper Daimao 20:57, 13 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I added a link to a search page on Instapundit returning all posts containing "Porkbusters". Glenn has been posting the responses from representatives that people have been sending him. --Viper Daimao 20:57, 13 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Coburn Amendment

[edit]

I added some quick info about the coburn amendment, which the project seems to be focusing attention at the moment. Also, I added a link to the pdf of the amendment in the External links section. If anyone knows how to add one of those little superscript numbered links that link to the bottom, please add one along side "Coburn Amendment" in the paragraph.--Viper Daimao 14:05, 20 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone else want to smack the crap out of every U.S. Senator who voted against the amendment? Or who agree with all this pork barrel stuff. Why are politicians so stupid? Even more so when money is involved. Quit using my money to pay for absolute crap! I just don't get it. ARGH!!! It just makes me so frustrated!!! Okay, sorry bout that, I had to vent. Back to work. --Lord Voldemort (Dark Mark) 15:33, 25 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

"There’s No Defending Pork"

[edit]

Senator Coburn has a National Review article by this title dated May 17, 2007. He says lots of interesting things; perhaps we should quote some of them. (He seems to be a little unhappy with some of his fellow congresspeople, and not just the Dems!) Cheers, CWC 16:11, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

June 2007

[edit]

We should bring this article up to date.

Here's some references we could use:

Porkbusters.net

[edit]

Someone's added back an EL to Porkbusters.net, a website which carries links to pork-related news items. I see from dnsstuff.com that it is hosted in Germany, whereas the official site (porkbusters.org) is hosted in Wisconsin. I suspect that the .net site is not really part of Porkbusters. Does anyone know for sure? CWC 10:38, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Meme?

[edit]

I'm all for the goal of the project, but can this really be considered an "internet meme?" Gregly (talk) 15:10, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
