History: Sources and citations

For the History section of the article, sources 7 and 9 are identical and refer to a blurb posted by the CARB website, which is not an independent or peer-reviewed source. Also, it may be more appropriate to cite source 8 as the official CAA text, instead of a summary posted by the US EPA. Whitesphinx (talk) 23:21, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Organization: Subheadings underneath "Causes" incorrectly assigned?

Most of the subheadings underneath the "Causes" heading refer to the impacts of air pollution on different populations instead of their sources. Overall, it looks like the article can be organized more efficiently to encompass broad topics in separate chunks, i.e. sections for specific geographical locations in CA, sources/causes of pollution, health effects, economic effects, action taken to mitigate effects, etc. Whitesphinx (talk) 23:37, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Unbalanced focus on air pollution?

Comparatively, the water pollution section is much less comprehensive than the air pollution section, and there are areas that have not been touched upon at all that could be useful or interesting to include (e.g. land pollution, pollutants in the food web, etc.) Whitesphinx (talk) 23:41, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
