[edit]Being an armchair historian trying to find out where coverage of the history of Virginia is lacking, I have run across the following sources that may be of use in fleshing out this article. Links have been provided to the digital scans at the Internet Archive.
- The Life of Frederick William von Steuben (1859), while possibly taking von Steuben's biographer's perspective of his actions there, it nevertheless devotes several pages to his stationing there and the raid, available here
- The Point of Fork Arsenal and neighboring Columbia are mentioned several times in the Bulletin of the Fluvanna County Historical Society from the 1960s (a source that was used for writing the National Register Nomination)
- Col. Simcoe's military journal, while a primary source from a combatant, may nevertheless have some use available here
At this time I am busy doing a general "missing content" survey of Virginia history, and so leave these to anyone who wants to focus in on writing a detailed history.Morgan Riley (talk) 01:34, 14 March 2014 (UTC)
