Improving the Plantago Aucklandica Page
[edit]Hello! I am looking to add to the availability of knowledge of plants on Wikipedia and I have a question about this species. Is it still considered at risk of extinction? Additionally, here is my evaluation of the article thus far.
The introductory sentence does a great job summarizing the article in a concise way, though the lead does not introduce the major sections of the article. The article's content is relevant to the species but is incomplete. As it discusses an endemic plant species, it is important to share knowledge about it and this article does so in a well-balanced way, keeping a neutral standpoint. All of the information is cited with reliable sources with sources that are fairly current. There are a variety of authors cited with working links to the sources. The article is well organized and has no grammatical or spelling errors, but it could be worded better. There is one image that shows the plant, however I am having trouble telling if it is cited correctly. This article does not have a talk page directly linked, but it is eligible to be a part of WikiProject Plants and WikiProject New Zealand. It is rated C-class, low importance.
Overall the article has great potential, but it is incomplete. It is well organized and has some information on key topics related to the species. To improve this article, more information needs to be added as well as more sources.
