Merge proposal

A user slapped merge tags on this article and Pterosaur Beach earlier this month but apparently neglected to start a proposed-merger discussion, so here it is. The proposal seems to have been to merge the preexisting Pterosaur Beach article into this one, but it seems to me that the merger makes more sense the other way, since English-language sources do use the moniker "Pterosaur Beach". This article does have more-detailed text and useful French refs, but they can be merged to the other article. Deor (talk) 18:11, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Agree with the idea of the merge, but think that it should in the direction proposed, to the more natural English version, which is also used in the sources; for example, the cited NBC article uses Pterosaur Beach in the second paragraph of the source; the National Geographic article also uses English. That is, sources in French use French; sources in English use English; .en should use English. Klbrain (talk) 14:05, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
