IPNI
[edit]The listing of the authors name at IPNI is not authored by me or the botanist that is the subject of the article. Beyond that, most of the botanists are known by the articles they published. In a sense, almost every single botanist article should be deleted then, if all we really know about them is that they authored about a plant from the articles in which they authored about the plant.
It should make maintaining botanist articles much easier if they don't exist here, btw. I am trying to think of more than five who were not known only for the articles they wrote. It is what makes a botanist an authority and worthy of being written about. -- carol (talk) 05:20, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
