Interesting article, as all of these are to nature nerds like me. :) I'm wondering if some more direct comparison of the size of the larva/fly vs. the length of the tunnel might take the hook up a notch? Like 'the 4mm (.2 inch) larva of a small fly blah blah blah' or something? I definitely think the tunnel length is the hook. --valereee (talk) 17:02, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
