Usher's bought Finn's in 1926 and ended the brewing - they used the premises for bottling and distribution for years after. The end of Finn's left two commercial breweries in Newbury (Newbury Brewery Co and Adnams). West Berkshire also had Strange's at Aldermaston and Blatch's at Theale, both of which lasted to the 1960s.
