A deletion notice seems to have been generated automatically relating to this article, possibly as the piece contains " Company Ltd" script. Whilst the story of this historic company has value on its own, it also has relevance to the history of 19th and 20th century Northampton UK, to the history of British brewing, to Danish Brewer Carlsberg's move to create a British lager brewery, to the history of changing tastes in British drinking, from Real Ale to Keg, to Lager and back to Micro Brewed Real Ale. It also has associations with the story of Campaign for Real Ale and the beginning of Microbrewery production in the UK in the mid '70s. The article consists of a chronological thread based on well researched and publicly available history. There are no personal judgements or subjective claims relating to persons, companies or products.
I would be interested to know what triggered the notice the better to avoid such events in any future post.
