Kevin MacDonald article
[edit]The lasting significance of this remains to be seen, but it's worth keeping an eye on this incident. This journal inexplicably published a paper by American antisemitic conspiracy theorist Kevin MacDonald:
- Pierre, Dion J. (4 January 2022). "Israeli Philosophy Journal Scolded for 'Legitimizing' Notorious White Supremacist by Publishing Article on 'Jewish Influence'". Algemeiner.com. Retrieved 6 January 2022.
That story itself cites this article:
- Weinberg, Justin (3 January 2022). "Philosophy Journal Hosts Debate on "Jewish Influence" (updated)". Daily Nous. Retrieved 6 January 2022.
Don't know if The Daily Nous is generally reliable or not, but it does cite Wikipedia, so there are WP:CIRC concerns if nothing else. That website also mentions a prior incident where the journal rushed to published an uncited, pseudonymous article about pronouns. Again, the lasting significance of this will probably need better sources. Grayfell (talk) 23:59, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
