Errors of criticism
As in the "two-dimensional argument against materialism," as in the "zombie argument," David Chalmers substitute concepts. He says that "P & ¬Q is metaphysically possible, materialism is false" - while in fact, materialism says that "if materialism is true, then our world is P & ¬Q". He says that "If P & ~ C is not conceivable, then C cannot explain our epistemic situation", while in fact materialism says that "if materialism is true, then P & ~ C is impossible and ideally unconceivable". ∎
