Merge with Mayo Building
[edit]I was looking for buildings to take photos of when I had a trip to Tulsa recently and came across this article. Only after did I discover that there's also a page for Mayo Building (Tulsa, Oklahoma). Looks to me like they refer to the same exact building. Obviously the stubs should be merged, but it's not clear which one is more notable. Which page should merge into which? Discussion centralized at Talk:Mayo Building. 0x0077BE (talk · contrib) 01:14, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
- Based on the reversion in the article, maybe these aren't the same building? I guess the previous address in the infobox was incorrect? Can someone who knows the history here clear this up? From the article it sounds like the building was taken over by a company called Mayo. I had assumed that's why they changed the name to the Mayo Building. 0x0077BE (talk · contrib) 01:55, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
- OK, sorry about the confusion, Ipoellet sorted everything out - apparently the address in the infobox was wrong and these have the same address on different streets 1 block away, look very similar, and presumably both once housed the Mayo furniture company. In any case, luckily I was lost when looking for 420 S. Main Street and accidentally took a few photos of what it now seems was the correct building, but unfortunately the framing and angle aren't great. If anyone gets a better shot feel free to replace the one I've put up there. 0x0077BE (talk · contrib) 05:02, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
