The result of the move request was: Move to Peter Beck (politician). Jafeluv (talk) 12:04, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
Peter Beck → Peter Beck (politician) – Achieve disambiguation to Peter Beck (cleric). Using the article stats tool, it is clear that this article is not the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. The only reason why I won't move the article myself is that I'm not sure what the preferred disambiguation is for US politicians. Schwede66 21:31, 7 October 2011 (UTC)
- Support- Most likely to remain stable as Peter Beck (Ohio), which is preferred for newer entries over disambiguation by country, politician, representative, or Ohio with politician or representative, which are the other most frequently used options. (politician) still acceptable if chosen. Dru of Id (talk) 05:57, 10 October 2011 (UTC)
- Support. The politician is not the clear primary topic, as shown by the nom. Simply "(politician)" would be my choice of disambiguation. "(Ohio)" should only really be used when there is another politician of the same because politician tells us more about the content of the article than Ohio, which could basically mean anyone from Ohio. Well, wouldn't you know it? The Christchurch priest has recently been elected as a city councillor for Christchurch City Council. I suspect that he will be better known as the former dean for a while to come, so for the time being, a hatnote should suffice. Schwede66 23:58, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
