[edit]I did not create the entry, but I have added to it. I would think C-Span, Democracy Now, Capital News Service, and Metro Weekly are reliable sources. PeteinDC (talk) 00:46, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- I see, my apologies. As the account that created this article was a single purpose account with no other edits and it started this article as one big chunk and wrote it in a very promotional manner I assumed it was you. Was it a friend or fellow activist or something?
- Anyway, I see that there are a few some independent, mainstream, third party sources that mention your name in passing in connection with anti war protests, disruptions of Committee meetings, etc but none of them treat you as the subject of their coverage. Simply being mentioned by name in a series of minor news articles does not put you into the category of persons who are covered in dedicated biographies here on wikipedia. Regardless, if you disagree with my interpretation of the guidelines here it's you prerogative to contest the proposed deletion. The details on this may be found here. If you choose to do so, barring any new sources, it will most likely end up nominated by me for deletion here. TomPointTwo (talk) 01:22, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
I believe it was an anonymous acquaintance. I am OK with the deletion. Just not sure what would separate a notable from a non-notable. PeteinDC (talk) 02:07, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- This is the criteria which defines notability for the purposes of a biographical wikipedia article. TomPointTwo (talk) 02:11, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
I added a front page Washington Post story where I was a subject. also, trimmed the entry down a bit and tried to make it not sound like a resume. PeteinDC (talk) 10:35, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
