Great
[edit]Great Explanation!
Perhaps the relationship between penetrance and epigenetics should be included. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.120.57.213 (talk) 03:35, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
Jargon tag
[edit]This article is very good, assuming you are already familiar with the topic. If not, it needs about one example per section, header, or bullet point; basically for each new concept. If so it will be much better. 04:59, 24 August 2013 (UTC)

Just what I needed
[edit]I was reading a paper. It had the term "penetrance" in it. I had never seen that word before. So I looked it up on wikipedia, and this article immediately helped me understand what the word meant. This page is definitely of high importance. I'm not so sure why it is considered to be full of jargon, or only rates a "C". 161.130.253.172 (talk) 20:00, 15 November 2014 (UTC)
- I entirely agree with you. Sminthopsis84 (talk) 21:44, 16 November 2014 (UTC)
Reviewed the whole article
[edit]As title said, reviewed the whole article. Added new sub categorys: Phenocopies, Epigenetic regulation, Age dependant penetrance, Gender related penetrance, Genetic modifiers, Environmental modifiers and the "subjects not covered" Updated references and added new ones where needed.
